Grant Application Seminar for Individual Artists
in Dance; Music Composition; Theatre Arts; & Film, Media, & New Technology Production
Two WNY seminars (this one in Hallwalls' Cinema) will provide information about opportunities for NYSCA funding to individual artists, focusing upon support for Composer Commissions; Dance Commissions; Film, Media, and New Technology Production; and Theatre Artist Commissions through the Individual Artists Program. It will describe application procedures for individual artist applications through fiscal sponsors, as well as general information about applying to NYSCA of interest to all applicants for funding.
During the meeting we will provide an overview of what you need to do to apply to NYSCA this year. We will also answer general application questions. The information we provide will be of particular interest to applicants making a complete (new for FY16) application, including first-time applicants as well as those returning after completion of a multi-year grant.
The meeting will cover eligibility requirements for individual artist applications as well as all NYSCA applicants, new sponsored request forms for individual artists and fiscal sponsors, and procedures for registering your application on the NYSCA web site and completing the application through Grants Gateway.
