Young Audiences of WNY & Arts Partners for Learning present
What Do You Advocate For?
Young Audiences of WNY, in collaboration with Arts Partners for Learning, will host a free, public event at Hallwalls on Monday, July 27th, 6:00 pm-8:00 p.m. What Do You Advocate For? is our second annual arts advocacy event featuring short presentations by dynamic leaders in the arts throughout New York State.
What Do You Advocate For? is a part of our second annual Buffalo Emerging Leaders Institute, serving 20 emerging leaders in the arts from organizations and schools across New York State. The Institute is an intensive three-day experience focused on addressing functional needs relevant to successful leadership and management.
Presenters of What Do You Advocate For? include Institute participants, Young Audiences staff, and Starlight Studios artists. A short film about Starlight Studios will also be featured. The event opens with light hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.
The Buffalo Emerging Leaders Institute is made possible by the New York State Council for the Arts and Young Audiences, Inc., with additional support provided by the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library.
