Where We Belong (2012, 90min) explores the complex issues associated with orphanages in Jinja, Uganda focusing on the cultural implications of Western aid organizations in the area and the controversy associated with domestic vs. international adoption in Uganda. The daily lives of the children, families, and workers involved in orphan related programs, and the complicated stories that have lead these subjects here, are interwoven to provide viewer with multiple meanings of "family".
