Lone soldier is a term used by the Israeli army to designate soldiers whose immediate family is not residing in the country. Most of lone soldiers are immigrants from all over the world who willingly enlist in the Israel Defense Force.
This is a story of a lone soldier who after his army service became a pacifist and a peace and Palestinian rights activist. On his journey of breaking away from ideology, he found that making peace is harder that waging war. He reveals how fear can make people blind and insensitive to the suffering of the other and how to rid of that fear.
In the society where military service is the norm, the way of pacifism can be a lonely one.
