Tender, funny and trippy stories from around the world. Expect the unexpected. Filmmakers Jessica Kourkounis (The Space Between Attack and Decay), Antonio Enrique Cavallo (Metamorphosis), Sarah Galasso (Shalom), and Christine Banna (Retreat Into The Swamp) will be in attendance. Program runtime is 91 minutes.

BIFF Shorts: Resilience + Resistance

Stories of resilience and resistance, and bold cinematic visions exploring cultural connections to the past, present and future. Runtime is 89 minutes.

BIFF X0 Program 4: Medicine + Magic

Medical interventions and magical reels! A collection of experimental sci-fi and magical realism. Elisa Gonzalez (Freya) and Kathy High (Lazarus: Becoming Vulture) will be in attendance. Total runtime is 72 minutes.

The Stingy Tailor

An aging puppeteer worries about his son, who is terribly sad, for he too was once a performer, until the puppeteer cursed him with the worst fate of all - existence. Filmmakers Onur Tukel (writer/director), Bonnie Stein (producer), star, Vít Hořejš, and composer, Michael Montes, will all be in attendance.
