Hallwalls is pleased to present a rare solo performance by the multifaceted musician/composer/improviser Joe Rozler.
Joe Rozler was inducted into the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame in 2008. He has performed in dozens of projects, is a founding member of The Party Squad and is recognized as one of Buffalo’s top studio musicians as a vocalist, guitarist, pianist and keyboard player. Joe is renowned for his unique talent and versatility in almost any stylistic context. From his early period in commercial studio work (during which he wrote and performed over 100 jingles for local and national ads), Joe’s diverse career also includes extensive work with a wide variety of projects, notably the Goo Goo Dolls and the Kings of Metal, Manowar (for whom he scored and conducted orchestras and choirs in the recording studio as well as in live performances in Europe). Other notable accomplishments include having served as vocal director for noted British actor Christopher Lee. Joe is beloved and admired widely in Buffalo and beyond and his impact on the local, national, and global music community is truly remarkable.
