Earth's Daughters presents
Robert Borgatti is a professor and coordinator of the Digital Media Program at Niagara County Community College. In addition to being one of the co-founders and co-editors of Slipstream, he is a documentary filmmaker. Two of his films, in/word/out and Fading in the Mist, have aired nationally on PBS. His poems have been published in various journals, such as Blank Gun Silencer, Misnomer, Nomad, Reflections, and Slipstream, as well as the Buffalo News. He is also a founding member of the Niagara Heritage Partnership, a community-based group seeking to remove the Robert Moses Parkway between Niagara Falls and Lewiston, and was recently appointed to serve a five-year term as a commissioner for the Niagara Falls National Heritage Area, which was established by Congress in 2008.
Livio Farallo has had poems published in Acid Angel, Asheville Poetry Review, Black Bear Review, Pavement Saw, Rattle, Sheila-Na-Gig, Spelunker Flophouse, and Spillway Magazine. He is a co-founder and co-editor of Slipstream Magazine. He is a Professor of Biology at Niagara County Community College. He hosted a poetry series for Just Buffalo Literary Center for several years.
Dan Sicoli, of Niagara Falls NY, is the author of two poetry chapbooks from Pudding House Publications (Columbus Ohio): Pagan Supper and the allegories. He is the co-founder and co-editor of the literary press and magazine Slipstream. Sicoli's poems have appeared in numerous litmags, e-zines, anthologies, and poetry audio recordings including Chiron Review, ONTHEBUS, Quercus Review, Barbaric Yawp, Dog River Review, Bathtub Gin, 2River, Rockzilla, and Jack Hammer Lobotomy. He has been twice nominated for the Pushcart Prize. In the past he has collaborated with the Nobodaddies and Ice 9—two experimental performance groups mixing poetry, voice, music, soundscapes, dance, theatre, and video.
