N(ora). K. Jemisin is an author of speculative fiction short stories and novels. Her work has been nominated for the Hugo (twice), the Nebula (four times), and the World Fantasy Award (twice). She has been shortlisted for the Crawford, the Gemmell Morningstar Award for Fantasy, and the Tiptree Award, and has won a Locus Award for Best First (science fiction) Novel. Her six novels—The Inheritance Trilogy, The Dreamblood, and The Broken Earth—a novella, and a collection of short stories are all available from Orbit Books. She lives and writes in Brooklyn, NY.
