Chris Mann is an Australian-American composer, poet, and performer specializing in the emerging field of "compositional linguistics," coined as such by Kenneth Gaburo, and which Mann himself describes as "the mechanism whereby you understand what I'm thinking better than I do." Mann teaches in the Media Studies Graduate Program at the New School.
