Hallwalls hosts a Western New York residency of Border Art Workshop/Taller de Arte Fronterizo (BAW/TAF), a San Diego/Tijuana-based artist collective, to include 2 weeks of interaction with WNY migrant farm workers and their families and 2 weeks of community art-based activities in Buffalo which will include music, performance, visual art, lectures, and community discussions. BAW/TAF Participating artists include Kristen Aaboe, Carmela Castrejon, Stephanie Heyl, Jorge Pena, Michael Schnorr, Carlos Toth, Susan Yamagata, Zopilote. Participating organizations include: Agustin "Pucho" Olivencia Center, BOCES Geneseo Migrant Center, Squeaky Wheel, Castellani Art Museum, Centro Cultural de la Raza (San Diego, CA), CEPA, Delaware Audio-Visual, East Bloomfield Tutorial and Health Outreach Program, El Museo Francisco Oller y Diego Rivera, Father Belle Community Center, The Golden Palm, Hickory Corners Organics, Hispanics United of Buffalo, John F.
