The Ways In Between Gender screening series runs at Hallwalls on the first Friday of every month, February through May, 2006. Co-sponsored by Spectrum, Transgender Group of WNY, Western NY's Transgender Support Group.

Monica has been confiding in a camera during the months before and after her operation, producing a very rare video diary. Her total honesty, sense of humor, and direct way of revealing her experiences will break down myths and prejudice towards people in her situation.

100% HUMAN consists of an unusual mix of genres: personal video diary, musical performances, re-enactments and traditional cinema-veritè scenes. Monica's musical numbers add depth to her story in a very poetic and untraditional way, making this film a challenge to the traditional documentary in much the same way Monica challenges traditional gender definitions."
