4th Annual Spirituality and the Arts present a lecture and video by film critic Roy Anker 
Anker looks closely at The Mission (Roland Joffe/Robert Bolt, 1986) and Places in the Heart (Robert Benton, 1984), each of which visualizes the nature of Christian redemption-one of the chief characteristics of the nature and presence of God. The lecture will be preceded by conference overview remarks entitled Like Shining from Shook Foil: Art, Film, & the Sacred, and will be followed by audience discussion.
