Hallwalls and the Western New York Sustainable Energy Association honor Earth Month with a presentation of two short documentaries. Tapping Maple Ridge (2006)—presented in person by co-director David Thompson—explores the relationship between the land and the people of Lewis County, New York—home to the largest wind farm in the Northeast, while Jeff Barie's Kilowatt Ours (2005) explores energy the Southeast, from the Smokey Mountain coal fields to the solar panels of Florida.
