Kevin Jerome Everson

Erie

Hallwalls HARP artist Kevin Jerome Everson produced the bulk of his fourth feature film last summer while in residence in Buffalo. Collaborating with community groups, including students from BAVPA, he produced a series of single take films, woven together to create an impression of life in communities along our Great Lake. "The scenes relate to a Black migration in the USA, contemporary conditions, folks concentrating on the task at hand, theater and famous art objects."

Artists & Communities, a program of the Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation, is made possible by major funding from the JPMorgan Chase Foundation.
