NEW JAZZ ORCHESTRA AND COMPOSER'S ALLIANCE OF BUFFALO

Five local composers (Rey Scott, Greg Piontek, Don Metz, Michael Colquhoun, and John Bacon Jr.) team up with the New Jazz Orchestra, Hallwalls' 14-piece house band.

ARCHIVAL NOTE (10/10/19): Besides the performing composers mentioned above, other members of the Orchestra included Greg Millar (electric guitar), John Hasselback Jr. (trombone), Geoffrey Fitzhugh Perry (violin), Kathleen Perry (d. May 20, 2009, viola), Eddie Nicholson (percussion), Vic Chiodo (saxophone & clarinet) and "possibly" Fred Stroud (bass), Stanley Day (trumpet), and Dick Griffo (d. 2012, saxophone & clarinet).
