Omar Tamez is a guitarist and composer from Monterrey, Mexico. For more than fifteen years Omar has been leading the group Non-Jazz. He has performed concerts in Mexico, the United States, thoughout Europe, as well as in Turkey, Canada, Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Japan among many other countries around the world. He is also the founder, producer and artistic director of the international music festival El Encuentro, now nearly a decade old. Omar has performed and/or recorded with many musicians including Ramón López, Gebhard Ullmann, Reggie Workman, Rashied Ali, Sonny Fortune, Andrew Cyrille, André Jaume, Bruce Arnold, Joe Fonda, Harri Sjöstrom, Kalle Kalima, Jonathan Golove, Steve Baczkowski, Tatsuya Nakatani and many more.

Joe Fonda An accomplished international jazz artist, bassist Joe Fonda has performed with his own ensembles throughout the United States, Europe and Asia, and has collaborated and worked as a sideman with Anthony Braxton, Wadada Leo Smith, Archie Shepp, Ken McIntyre, Lou Donaldson, Bill and Kenny Barron, Randy Weston, Han Bennink, Xu Fengia, Curtis Fuller, Slide Hampton, Ramon Lopez, Carla Bley, Bobby Naughton, Bill Dixon, Gebhard Ullmann & many more.
