A Conference of Innovative Writing & the Literary Arts

The &Now Conference of Innovative Writing & the Literary Arts was founded in 2004 at Notre Dame, hosted by Lake Forest College in 2006 and Chapman University in 2008, and will be hosted in Oct. 2009 by UB, with literally dozens of readings, multimedia performances, lectures, and panels taking place over 4 days and nights at the downtown Hyatt and at Hallwalls. &Now is a unique conference dedicated to the practice and study of innovative, hard to categorize writing, whether experimental, avant-garde, hybrid, or cross-genre, and whether it is called surfiction, avant-pop, or postmodern.
