WHY YOU WON'T SEE ME ON TV (AND HOW TO RECOGNIZE ME IF YOU DO): a workshop on gender and performance presented by Judith Jackson. This informal workshop (open to women and men from all backgrounds) examines in a fun way the misportrayals of race, gender, and sexuality on the mainstream television and in daily life while looking for a way to make room for people of different body sizes, skin tones, ages, etc.
