We will be honoring Manny's life and times as a playwright, actor, union organizer, novelist, and teacher. We invite his numerous friends in the various communities that he touched (labor, theater, literature, Buffalo State College, and others) to join us to celebrate a legend. We are so pleased that Manny's daughters—Mindy Fried and Lorrie Rabin—and many of his other family members will be able to be there with us.
Music is by the band Erie Lackawanna Railroad and Mary Kate O'Connell & Ron Swick.
Manny's family has donated a number of Manny's manuscripts as well as copies of the DVD of Boilermakers & Martinis (his one-man show) and numerous other items for a silent auction at the event, the proceeds of which will benefit the Give For Greatness campaign in memory of Manny Fried.
