PechaKucha Night (PKN), devised by Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham of Klein Dytham architecture, began in Tokyo in 2003 as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public. Since 2003, PKN has spread to 376 cities across the world, offering a chance for artists in all mediums to present work in a unique and fast-paced format—using only 20 images, each shown for only 20 seconds! PechaKucha (pronounced in three syllables like "peh-chak-cha") is a Japanese term for the sound of "chit chat." We are pleased to welcome PKN Buffalo back to Hallwalls for an exciting event. PKN Buffalo is organized by Nick Bruscia of the University at Buffalo School of Architecture & Planning and Joanna Gillespie.

Poster design by Ben Van Dyke.
