For the next in our ongoing series ofstudio visits with specialty foods, we invite you to join us in the studio of Pam Glick for art browsing and brunch.

Pam Glick's work has been widely exhibited, including solo shows in New York City and Los Angeles, and in important group shows alongside works by such artists as Jean-Michel Baquiat, George Condo and Christopher Wool. Glick was part of Hallwalls' long-running Amid/ln Western New York and Beyond/ln Western New York at the Albright-Knox. On view through June 13th, Glick is included in the group show, Contemporary Artists vs. the Masters: Homage, Battle, Reclamation, at the Brattleboro Museum & Art Center, Brattleboro, VT. Glick's first solo show at BT&G Gallery, Thank you for having me, runs through April 16.

David Schirm
All The Glad Variety

Though distilled into broad symbolic forms or abstract landscapes, David Schirm's work often springs from his own experiences during the Vietnam War and paintings may allude to the scenes of horrific and senseless battles, the strafing of weapons across a landscape, "whose laser-like blazes of fired bullets gave a distinctive hum of un-worldliness to the darkness."
