Women's Work: Hallwalls' 2017 Art Auction

Tickets available online now.

Hallwalls' 2017 art auction will feature artworks by 40 women artists, both regionally and internationally acclaimed. This is a unique auction as we are focusing solely on women artists this year. Every work will be auctioned live in Asbury Hall here in Babeville, where Hallwalls is also located.

For our first 42 years Hallwalls has been a safe place, not only by supporting the LGBTQ community, but also by supporting the creation and presentation of new work by artists of every ethnicity, age, and gender. A variety of media including performance, visual art, alternative jazz and new music, literary readings, community presentations, and media arts are shared with our community of WNY and beyond.

Auction attendance is $40 each or 2 for $70, and tickets are available online at www.hallwalls.org, or by calling Hallwalls at 716-854-1694.

The open bar will include signature cocktails, champagne, wine, and beer with our mixologist Kerry Quaile behind the bar. A selection of hearty hors d'oeuvres will be available throughout the event, catered Buffalo Catering Company.

Doors open at 7:00 p.m. for registration and a preview of the available artworks; the live auction begins promptly at 8:00 pm. Artworks can also be viewed on the Hallwalls website beginning in mid-May.
ABCDJ will be spinning tunes before and after the live auction.
