For our Mid Winter's Draw we are fortunate to partner with three local businesses who are offering Hallwalls a percentage of their sales from a series of incredible offerings. Now you can grab yummy cocktails for your weekend celebrations, AND for when you tune into the Mid Winter's Draw Broadcast Premiere on Wednesday 2/24 at 7 pm.

For the second time during our pandemic era, Hallwalls hosts its popular twice-yearly drawing rally as a virtual, pre-recorded event, with its "broadcast premiere" on Wednesday, February 24 at 7:00 pm. Online bidding for works will be available on Clickbid through Sunday, February 28 at 9:00 pm.
The video and work images will be free to view, but in order to bid, visitors will be required to pay $5 to register.
Hallwalls has presented 17 LIVE drawing rally events in Babeville since 2012 and it has always remained a hugely popular occasion, with high enthusiasm from both the participating artists and the attending audience. 2020 being 2020, Hallwalls was forced to temporarily transition to a virtual platform for A Mid Summer NIght's Draw and continue to share this exciting event with our audience. Platform questions aside, enthusiasm remained extremely high. Artists remained eager and excited to participate via recorded Zoom sessions and our audience responded with a record amount of bidding on artworks. We expect a similar situation for A Mid Winter's Draw.
For those who may be unfamiliar with our drawing rallies, invited artists are asked to produce a drawing in any media during a 45-minute drawing session on a sheet of paper measured 12 x 18 inches. There is never a theme and artists are free to draw what they choose. Once drawn, the works are silent-auctioned—in the case of this virtual version, over the course of five days—with opening bids for all works starting at $39.
